Raquel Cato, a Nashville native and current Corresponding Secretary for the Napier-Looby Bar Association, is currently a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Raquel earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tennessee in 2017 and her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2022. Her career is dedicated to advancing workplace equity through employment law and civil rights litigation. Beyond her legal work, Raquel’s leadership and service are evident in her continued involvement with NLBA, the Tennessee Employment Lawyers Association, and her prior recognition in law school as President of the Black Law Student’s Association. She remains a steadfast advocate for justice and a valued member of Nashville’s legal community.
