Chicoya Smith Gallman

Chicoya Smith Gallman is an Assistant District Attorney in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a Chattanooga native and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She received her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law and went to work for Manson Johnson Conner after graduating, the oldest all Black law firm in Nashville. She serves on the executive board for the Napier-LoobyBar Association and the Tennessee Alliance for Black Lawyers. She is also an inaugural ambassador for the Young Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association, inaugural mentor for the Bridge Builders Esq. National Mentoring Program, and member of the National Black Prosecutors Association. She was named Top 40 Under 40 by National Black Lawyers in 2020. In her free time, Chicoya loves reading, spending time with family, and mentoring.
