Magistrate Jerice Le’Tay Glanton was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and finished her legal education at the University of Tennessee College of Law.  During her time in Law School, she interned with the Polk County Juvenile Law Department in Des Moines, Iowa, Davidson County Public Defender’s Office, and the Law Offices of Luvell L. Glanton.  She has worked as a Personal Injury Attorney, E-Discovery Attorney, Child Advocate, Safe Baby Court Magistrate, and is currently the Presiding Magistrate for Davidson County General Sessions Night Court.
