Kim Easterling

Kimberly Easterling is a Senior Attorney for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). In her current capacity, she provides legal support, conducts research, and issues legal opinions on federal firearms laws, federal explosives laws and arson. She also teaches local, state and federal law enforcement and prosecutors in the areas of arson,  explosives and other areas of criminal law. Prior to joining the ATF, Ms. Easterling was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Middle District of Georgia. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, she was an Assistant District Attorney in Augusta, Georgia, where she prosecuted felonies, misdemeanors and handled juvenile court matters. Ms. Easterling graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Political Science and Spanish. She received her Juris Doctor from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law.
